Hi there! My name is Kaley Jensen and I am currently based in the Dallas area as a professional dancer, pilates instructor, choreographer and creator of my very own new coaching program for dancers: Mindset to Movement.
I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and my love for dance and performing on stage began as early as I could walk. I attended Brigham Young University as a dance major and business minor performing and touring with the Theatre Ballet Company all four years. During this time I had the privilege of training on scholarship at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance and Ballet West, as well as achieving academic and international talent awards at the World Dance Movement in Italy. I went on to pursue my Masters of Fine Arts at the University or Arizona, which was a pivotal point in my career. It was there that I deepened my passion for performing, educating, and choreographing. After my first year, I was in a serious automobile accident where I broke my back. Fortunately, I was able to recover and work my way back to dancing with the help of a dedicated pilates regimen. While at the University of Arizona, I met and married my now husband, who landed a job as a civil engineer in Dallas.
Since moving to Dallas in 2017, I have enjoyed dancing professionally and teaching as a Qualified Fletcher Pilates, Dance and Ballet Burn Instructor. I have performed with companies such as Bruce Wood Dance, Zion Dance Project, Ballet North Texas, Collin County Ballet Theatre, as well as Ballet Dallas. I have also also had the privilege of performing and choreographing locally for dance departments such as Richland College, to the national AGO conference for the last two years. As a second company member with Ballet Dallas, I have been grateful to perform in original works by Artistic Director, Carter Alexander and Silas Farley of New York City Ballet and I look forward to many more to come. Through my performance and mentoring, I hope to inspire dancers worldwide that with the right mental and physical tools, they can achieve their biggest dreams and shine their brightest light!
